After nearly a decade of working on public art and design projects across Asia and the United States, Andrew founded Studio Hai in 2020. His experience of working with creatives from all over the world to deliver projects in a multitude of scales and materials impressed upon him the importance of a collaborative vision and interdisciplinary approach - a philosophy and practice that is essential to the work Studio Hai does today.
His most recent built work - an iconic architectural canopy in Qingdao, China titled, ‘Emergence’ - was shortlisted for the 2018 Metal in Architecture Award from World Architecture News.
