Dingbat Boogie
Playscape Design2019
Dingbat Boogie is a playscape concept completed for a commercial retail client in Los Angeles.
Closely related to ‘Populuxe’ and ‘Mid-Century Modern’ architecture, historically vilified and only recently vindicated, ‘Dingbat’ architecture is a uniquely Los Angeles vernacular. This concept aims to reinterpret the classic form and function of the dingbat style into a glamorous, modern, and fun playscape.
